Forest Vision for MiD DAY Trophy

Ten young horses all three-year-olds will be taking off from the starting gates placed at the seven-furlong pole to compete for the prestigious MiD DAY Trophy, slated as a prime attraction of the nine-race Sunday card.

But only one of them will wear the sashay emblazoned with ‘MiD DAY’ after returning to the winner’s enclosure.

Though an upset cannot be ruled out, Forest Vision, trained by Karthik Ganapathy and to be ridden by B Sreekanth, is expected to be at the forefront, and win the MiD DAY Trophy from Gerome, trained by Shyam Habbu and to be ridden by S Zervan, who will not go down without a fight. Silver Arrow and Grand Duke, for whom it will be the first run of the career, are the dark horses.

First race at 1.30 pm.
