With only three races remaining in this season's Formula One calendar, most drivers who are yet to secure a seat for next season are a nervous lot. But not Force India's Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta.
The duo, on a high after returning home amongst points at last week’s Indian GP, has instead chosen to concentrate on their performances in the current season.
On being asked whether he would have to prove himself in the remaining races to secure a spot with Force India, Sutil said: “ I don’t have to prove to anyone what my abilities are. We (F1 drivers) are professionals and we love racing. I don’t have to prove anything to anyone.”
Teammate Di Resta, too, put up a brave front ahead of the Abu Dhabi GP this weekend.u00a0“There will be a Force India board meeting soon, after which they will take a call (on which drivers they want to drive for the team). If you notice, none of the midfield teams have announced their line-ups so far.
“I’m also looking to make sure I don’t lose out on any other spot that may be vacant,” the Scotsman added.u00a0
