Four dacoits arrested

Sion police has arrested four dacoits for trying to rob a locked flat in the railway quarters in Sion

One of their accomplices is absconding. According to police, the incident occurred on Friday morning around 6 am at the Central Railway quarters in Sion. The accused broke into room number 4 on the first floor of building number 6.

The flat owner Rajesh Sharma, was out of town during the incident. The arrested have been identified as Rajesh Rajbhar (24), Shankar Bhimanna Chanali (23), Ravi Subhash Bhalki (20) and Hemant Shinde (20).

Police are still looking for one Jeetu Dusange (28), a resident of Borivali. Police have recovered a screwdriver, scissor, two hand gloves, an iron rod and a cutter from the arrested accused.
