Beijing: The Rolls Royce car of South Korean pop star Psy, who shot to fame with his "Gangnam style" single, collided with a bus in a Chinese city, a media report said on Friday.

Psy was in his red Rolls Royce when it collided with a bus in Hangzhou in China's Zhejiang province on July 16, China Daily reported.

No one was hurt.

The singer was on his way to a hotel in Hangzhou when the accident happened. He was later driven away in a Porsche.

The pop star got overnight fame with his catchy tune "Gangnam style". The promo for the hit single has become the most popular video in YouTube history and has amassed over 2.3 billion views to date since its release in 2012.

The video mocks the consumerism of South Korean upper classes and features sunglass-wearing Psy dancing in a company of long-legged Korean models in a jerky style that resembles horseback riding.

"Gangnam Style" has generated numerous parodies, and many celebrities, including Madonna, imitated Psy's dancing moves.

It won the Best Video Award at the 2012 MTV European Music Awards in Frankfurt Nov 11.
