When we asked the Academy Award-winning actor turned director about Clooney's zany dance, she said, "While shooting for the movie, George Clooney allowed his inner white-boy funk to just come out."
"I was like, 'If you want to dance, we're going to set you up,' Foster said. "It was the very first thing we shot in the movie. He really went for it... It was brave. In five seconds, it really shows you who Lee Gates is. He's so full of himself and he's so un-self-aware, and yet you love him because he's joyful. He's a joyful character who wants to love life even though he's been beaten down by his own poor psychological health."
