A woman from Germany, who was dubbed the Nymphomaniac of Munich and left men in tears with her insatiable appetite, eventually died last week doing what she loved best - booze-and-drug-fuelled sex

German nymphomaniac dies after too much booze-and-drug fuelled sex

Antje Crapnik died, the woman who could not say “Nein”, was found dead in bed by her latest pick-up.

It was a tragic but perhaps inevitable ending for the 47-year-old, who twice hit the headlines for imprisoning men and repeatedly forcing them to have sex.

The curvy blonde would regularly go on the prowl in bars in the German city.

Hatke news, Antje Crapnik

Doused in perfume and wearing skintight dresses revealing her ample bosom, she was a magnet for lonely young guys and they couldn’t believe their luck when she invited them back to her flat, but doubts may have set in when they saw her grimy apartment.

The well-spoken, smartly dressed woman had once been a successful writer and fashion store owner but lost everything because of her sex obsession.

And at least two of her pick-ups realised they had made a major mistake when, after an initial romp, Antje locked them in and demanded sex again and again.

In April she met DJ Dieter Schultz on one of her regular evening trawls through bars and took him back to her apartment where they had sex three times.

That was enough for the 43-year-old, but when he tried to leave he found that Antje had locked the door and hidden the key.

He later told police that she forced him to have sex five more times, and finally fell asleep he dashed on to the balcony of the two-bedroom flat and phoned police.

“You have got to help me. She is trying to kill me with sex. I cannot get out and I cannot go on,” the Mirror quoted him as saying.

When officers arrived, smashing down the door to release the terrified man, Antje shamelessly begged detectives for a threesome, and later police sent her for a psychiatric evaluation and treatment for sex addiction.

She told doctors she needed sex 10 times a day, every day, but their treatment failed to help her.

Even after a second round of treatment, they seemed powerless to control her behavior and neighbours said they often saw Antje bringing back two or three men at once to her apartment.

But last night her mother claimed Antje was a tortured soul, driven to sex by manic depression, and said that her daughter’s problems began when her ex-husband ditched her for not being young enough.

She became obsessed with proving her attractiveness and as her nymphomania increased her work suffered. She was made bankrupt and ended up on benefits in the grimy flat where she held her victims captive.

“My daughter was ill, a manic depressive. My Antje was a victim of men,” Antje’s mother said.

“She only went on the pull when she had a manic phase. At other times they wanted nothing to do with her,” she said.

One night last week, the mother and daughter shared a touching phone call, when a calm Antje talked about how 2012 had been an awful year for her and hoped that 2013 would be better, but the next night she went to one of her favourite haunts – the Sunshine Bar in central Munich – and bumped into a neighbour with whom she had been having an on-off affair.

Christian, a 31-year-old heating engineer, told officials later he was aware of her incredible hunger for sex and stocked up on condoms before heading back to her flat.

Antje had demanded less than 20 pounds for sex and he agreed, even though his girlfriend lived in the next-door flat. He said they drank a bottle of vodka and several bottles of wine and Antje snorted a white powder before having sex several times.

When Christian woke next morning he found “the woman who could not say nein” lifeless in bed next to him, her heart burned out by her own excesses.

“I knew something was wrong because usually she wanted it first thing in the morning,” Christian said.

An inquest heard he tried to give her the kiss of life and restart her heart after calling an ambulance, without success.

The German police are waiting for a full post mortem and have said that “at first glance there is no sign of foul play,” but it is thought that the of drugs, booze and sex caused her broken heart to stop and finally released her from the torturous search for the next lover.
