Rizvi, who won the toss and elected to bat, were in a spot of bother at 149-4, before the left-right combination of Soham-Shreyas got together to pile on the runs.

Soham scored a 115-ball 184, which included 34 boundaries before he was eventually caught and bowled by R Shinde. Shreyas however, is unbeaten on 172 off 165 balls (20 boundaries). Ajit Yadav, on 49, is the other unbeaten boy at the crease for Rizvi.

Rizvi coach satisfied
Rizvi coach Raju Pathak was satisfied with the number of runs on the board but felt Soham should have got his double century. "Soham and Shreyas are our senior batsmen and batted responsibly today. Soham missed out on his double century, but I’m sure Shreyas will get his tomorrow," said Pathak.
