Dress in your spookiest best to join other dessert fiends on an indulgent crawl through Bandra
You can't call it Halloween if there's no trick-or-treating now, can you? If you have a sweet tooth, this weekend gives you the perfect excuse to indulge, courtesy the upcoming Halloween Dessert Crawl. Organised by Paprika Idea Labs, the crawl will take place in Bandra West, beginning with Out Of The Blue. The stops include Country of Origin, The Belgian Waffle Co, Bohemian Brew, ChillOz (previously known as Makers Of Milkshake), and Raasta.

"We have been hosting this crawl for the last two years, but a few things are different this year. We have 10 eateries on board, which is more than what we've had in the past, and we have also crowdsourced the menu this time around," says Mytri Naik, who is part of the organising team.
Most eateries that are part of the crawl will create customised, Halloween-themed desserts for the event, and attendees can vote for their favourites through a series of polls listed on the Facebook page. For instance, Out Of The Blue will serve fudge 'coffins' with red velvet crumble; a creation they have named Rest in Peace 2017. It won over two other options the restaurant was offering — Vampire Dentures (cookie and marshmallow sandwich) and Finger Cookies.

Hazelnut Fudge Ghosts will be served at Country of Origin
"We wanted to give people the choice of picking the desserts on offer; it makes the experience more personal," says Naik, sharing that they have ensured all desserts are eggless. The evening's menu also features one savoury item, to be served by The Burgery. "Think of it as a palate cleanser between all the sugar," she chuckles. The crawl is open to a maximum of 350 attendees, and the arrival at each stop will be staggered. "It's not just about the desserts. People are encouraged to dress up — the best-dressed will win a prize — and we will have a photo booth set up at one of the stops," says Naik.
