With time being such a precious commodity, not many of us would want to spend our free-time in the wild. But chartered accountant Kunj Trivedi has no such issues.

This amateur photographer has a passion for wildlife. His ongoing exhibition, Through My Lens, at the Jehangir Art Gallery transports you to the jungles across the world.
Animal instinct
I fell in love with wildlife during my 25-year stay in Kenya and Tanzania. In order to become a good wildlife photographer, you need to have excellent knowledge about animal behaviour, habitat and of course, your equipment.
Moreover, you need a lot of patience and persistence as you cannot manoeuvre the movement of animals to get a perfect shot. I have done extensive wildlife photography in places like Alaska, Iceland, Africa, India and Arctic.
People think that this type of photography is dangerous but that's not true. I do most of it from a safari jeep or elephant back.
The only time I walked, was in Katmai National Park, Alaska, where we had to walk to spot the cute-looking, but dangerous brown bears. The current exhibition has pictures from all my travels to National Parks across the globe.

I love photographing tigers, leopards and cheetahs. Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh is great for clicking tigers, even Pench Reserve offers excellent photo opportunities.
