The 'Maharathi Award' was awarded to well-known film director Umesh Shukla (of 'Oh My God' fame) at the hands of actor/director Neeraj Vora, well-known philanthropist from the Gujarati Jain Community Manish Shah and also by Nalin Shah of Shah Group at the Gujarati Screen & Stage Awards.
It was Gujarati culture at its best being awarded by the Gujarati enthusiasts.
