Halted for riding triple seat, biker assaults traffic cop

Yesterday, a traffic constable was hit by a biker, riding triple-seat, near NCH colony, LBS Marg, Gandhinagar, Kanjurmarg (West)

According to the Parksite police in Vikhroli, constable Nitin Baban Nalawade (29) was on duty around 7.30 am. He saw three people on a black Pulsar bike and tried to stop them. However, the driver sped up and fled after hitting Nalawade, fracturing his right leg. Nalawade was rushed to Fortis hospital, Mulund, and search is on for the rider based on the number of the bike.
