Be it 'Kancha Cheena', 'Bakhtawar'or 'Khuda Baksh', Danny Denzongpa has portrayed some memorable characters in Hindi cinema. On the occasion of his 69th birthday today, we recap some of his best performances so far

1. Katya in 'Ghatak'

Inspector Barua in 'Aitbaar': As he embarks on cracking a murder mystery, Danny showed off his intense acting in this story of infidelty and deception.
Ranjit Singh in 'Dhund': This 1973 film had Danny playing a ruthless man, who is murdered by his young wife (played by Zeenat Aman).
Narendra nath in 'Khote Sikkay': Danny shone as the parallel lead alongside Vinod Khanna, both of whom are hired to save a village from dacoits.
Khuda Bakshi in 'Khuda Gawah': As the childhood friend of Badshah Khan (Amitabh Bachchan), Danny was loved by the audience in this story of love and separation.
