Harbhajan Singh will have to wait for another occasion to celebrate his 100th Test
The 32-year-old, who figured in the last Test at Mumbai, has not been named in the XII that will take on England at the Eden Gardens today. Ishant Sharma and Ashok Dinda have been included in the XII.

Harbhajan claimed two wickets in England’s first innings at the Wankhede, but went wicketless in the second dig. Many reckoned he didn’t get enough bowling (23 overs in the Test) for a man who was making a comeback.
Fellow off-spinner R Ashwin did the bulk of the bowling. Opening the bowling, the Tamil Nadu tweaker could claim only two wickets in the Test. This is only the first Test at Kolkata where Harbhajan will be in the reserves. He was not in the squad for last season’s Test against the West Indies.
In seven Eden Gardens Tests, Harbhajan has claimed 46 wickets. He helped India win in that incredible Test against Australia in 2001.u00a0
