Riding on left-arm-spinner Shreyans Bogar's seven-wicket haul, the Bandra school bundled out the opposition for 163 in 63.4 overs — taking a vital first innings lead of 47 runs at the Sassanian CC ground.

Resuming the day at 28-1, Al-Barkaat's target was to take the first innings lead, but they were unable to do so as 15-year-old Shreyans sent back Rohit Varma (14), Satyendra Yadav (8), Altamash Khan (9), Kesar Singh Thapa (8), Sumit Singh (1), Meer Rizvi (29) and Rajesh Sardar (0).

The Rizvi batsmen found the going tough in their second innings as Al-Barkaat spinners — off-spinner Meer and left-arm spinner Rajesh claimed 3-40 and 2-38 respectively — to restrict Rizvi to 109-6 at stumps for an overall lead of 156 runs.

Rizvi 109-6 at stumps It is up to No 6 batsman Shoaib Siddique (33 not out) and Shreyans (3 not out) to steady the ship today.
