Dear Diana, I was in a relationship for two years and then suddenly one day, my guy decided to break up saying "This isn't going anywhere."
He even unfriended me on Facebook. I tried to get in touch with him but he did not respond. I felt he owed me an explanation for it. But he just refused to answer my calls or meet me. We have not been in touch for almost a year now. Last week he sent me a friend request. I don’t know what to do. He even called me but I did not answer it. Should I accept his request and pretend as if nothing happened?

One fine day, this guy just decides to severe all contact with you. Despite trying to get a reason for it, he ignores you and now after a year he wants to be back in your life. This guy cannot be trusted. If he cared for you, he would have at least told you the reasons why he suddenly decided to cut off all ties with you. He needed to give you an explanation. By now you may have overcome your heart break and want to move on. Ignore his friend request. If he calls you again, be cordial and tell him that he can remain a friend but things will not be like before. He may have found someone else who may have dumped him and now wants to get back with you. You cannot be at his call only to be discarded according to his whims and fancies.
