Colour me hip
You need to choose a hair colour that suits your personality and goes with your skin tone. You can also choose your hair colour referring to your eyeshade. Some experts, however, warn that though streaking to make the hair look stylish or to cover grey hair is now common, harmful colouring agents can cause severe damage by making them weak and result in hairfall and hair thinning. So go slow on the frequency.
Conditioners are nutrient providers for hair. There are a lot of conditioners available in the market according to different hair types and chemically treated hairs. Choose a conditioner that suits your hair type. And for some good conditioning, some experts suggest, hair spa.
Serums are meant for the surface of the hair to enhance its gloss and shine. You can use serum whenever you wash your hair. Applying a little serum after a wash adds shine and texture.
Gel with it
Products like wet gel to give a stylish look and hair wax to give the hair a good hold are in vogue. Powder products to volumise hair are also popular. If one is uncomfortable with the way gels harden the hair there are products in the market, which keep the hair in shape, give a wet look and yet keep it soft.
Bald can be cool too
Male balding is also called, Androgenetic Alopecia. There are many ways of dealing with balding. You can either fight it if it is an ongoing process or flaunt it when it has happened already, and yet another way is to go for a transplant. There is also the option of hair weaving for the partially bald. Transplant, experts say, works better for those younger than 60. Styling a bald look can be interesting too, and it is now in trend. You can have skin fade hair on the side or a full bald look and sport a French beard.
Style it right
You can style your hair using different hair products, opting for different hairstyles. Spot a beard to make it look more stylish. Different hair products can be used to style your hair. Hairstyle depends on an individual’s personality and face cut and not on skin tone. One can consult a stylist while choosing a hairstyle and should opt for a style that suites their face cut the most.
Massage the ego (oops! the head)
Most experts assert the importance of applying oil at least once a week as it provides nutrition for the hair and the scalp. Some, however, point out that more than oil, it is the massage that causes blood circulation in the scalp leading to hair growth. And hence regular massages are important too.
Eat your vitamins
Check all your vitamins like iron, Vitamin B2 and Vitamin D. Correct deficiencies and increase protein intake with eggs and soya in one’s diet. Also, green vegetables, all agree, are very important.
