Officials of the Economic Offence Wing (EOW) and personnel from the Deccan-Gymkhana police station raided Pathik Hotel on JM road in the wee hours of yesterday and busted a gambling den being operated in two rooms.
Thirteen small-time traders and businessmen were arrested for allegedly indulging in gambling and the manager of the hotel was also held for allowing the illegal activity.u00a0
The police recovered Rs 2.45 lakh in cash and several bottles of liquor from the rooms.u00a0
