Here's how to hit a six with this trend:
* Don't over layer: Your look should have a single focus. For instance, if you have a sequin jacket, don't pair it with a sequin bag and shoes. Keep it understated and easy on the eyes. Better to pair the jacket with simple denims, black trousers or even joggers.

* Make it fun and edgy: You can add some fun prints or graphic content to your look. Pair a graphic T-shirt or a sweatshirt with a shimmery pencil skirt or joggers and keep the rest monotone. Or even an oversized solid colour shirt with a sequin skirt.

Sequins don't always have to be paired with monotones, if you are in the mood to experiment, you can also try a chequered combination. Remember, always let there be one hero in your look, whether it's a sequin jacket, skirt, top or shoes. This holds true for both, a day and night look.
