Here's how TV stars plan to celebrate Holi this year

I have just come back from the 'Roadies X4' journey and I am extremely excited about Holi as this is going to be my first festival after coming back. For me Holi is incomplete without spraying colours on my girlfriend and family simply because they are the closest to me. I would like to smear my girlfriend, Anusha, with red and my family with blue.

I believe in celebrating colourless Holi. For me holi is getting into my washroom with my elder sister and my younger brother, my labrador, with a huge drum of water and a pichkari and spraying water on each other. However, this year Holi is going to be different cause I am sure my 'Girls On Top' gang is not going to spare me and they will drag me out of my house to play Holi. I usually celebrate Holi with water but if I really have to play Holi with colour and smear my favorite people, it would be with pink. Pink is my favorite colour and if I could, I would paint the town pink.

Like every year, I will dedicate Holi to my kids. Their friends usually come over. My wife and I prepare all kinds of snacks and sweets for them. We have a great time just looking at the kids having a blast. When I was in school, I played Holi with my friends as well and I still have those memories fresh in my head. Though a lot of fun, throwing water balloons from the terrace of our building was something we were always scolded for and I request everyone to play a safe Holi without hurting anybody. 'Rang Barse' is my all time favourite Holi song but 'Do me a favour let's play holi' by Anu Malik is another one I like. I would like to wish everyone a ‘Happy Holi!’.

Celebrating Holi is always a lot of fun. As a tradition, my friends and I welcome holi with safe and organic colours. It goes without saying that Holi is incomplete without jalebis, samosas and lots of sweets. As a kid, I used to have a neighbour called Sharma aunty, who used to adore me and prepare lots of snacks and sweets for me. Every Holi, I used to go to her place to binge on gujia, as it was her specialty. It is definitely my most favourite Holi memory. I love 'Balam Pichkari', but my favourite has to be Mr Bachchan's song 'Rang Barse', as it takes me back to my college days.

I love the festival of colours, however I believe that one must be mindful about the safety of others too. I would like to ask everyone and all my fans to play Holi using eco friendly colours and just use one litre of water through the day while they celebrate the festival.

Aashka Goradia
Aashka GoradiaHoli for me is not just a festival of colours but it goes beyond that. It is the time where we must let bygones be bygones and embrace each other with love and compassion. It is the season of spreading smiles. Also I would like to urge all my fans who will be playing Holi to be a little considerate and to not waste water. Let us conserve water and play a safe and dry Holi.

Disha Vakani
Disha VakaniThis year too like every year I will be playing Holi with eco friendly colours. I will be making lots of sweets and special snacks. So this year I will be celebrating Holi in my own special way.

I don’t celebrate Holi. Since childhood, I didn’t like the wastage of water that happens during the festival. However, knowingly unknowingly, I am happy I never wasted water as now water shortage has become a serious problem. I have played Holi only for the camera for my shows as it was unavoidable. But yes, I do love to eat Puranpoli which is a speciality in Maharashtra. I like to celebrate Holi by eating sweets and knowing the importance of the festival. I would want to request each and every one that please play dry Holi and don’t waste even a drop of water. This step might save a lot of lives.

I personally love the colours and the festival both. On sets, we do celebrate Holi as a one big family. This year, onscreen Holi is going to be little different as there will be a special Girls v/s Boys Holi and we are playing eco-friendly Holi. However, this time I am more excited as I will be enjoying the festival three times. One for the shoot, one with my 'Chidiya Ghar' family and one with my friends and family.
