Here's how Zeenat Aman plans to celebrate her 66th birthday
Sanjeevani Bhelande to croon Aman's chartbusters at concert
Veteran actor Zeenat Aman turns 66 on Sunday. On the eve of her special day, singer Sanjeevani Bhelande will belt out Aman's hit numbers at a tribute concert. Titled Mehek-e-Zeenat, the show will be held tomorrow in Borivali. The singer is looking forward to performing in Aman's presence. She tells mid-day, "Zeenatji will sit on stage as I perform the songs picturised on her. She will share anecdotes and memories, like how Do Lafzon Ki Hai was shot in Venice and Khatuba in Cairo, as I sing the songs. She is a living legend, who modernised the look of the conventional Hindi film heroine."
Bhelande will perform hits from films like Satyam Shivam Sundaram (1978), Ajanabee (1974), Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971), The Great Gambler (1979), Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973) and Heera Panna (1973). Few among these are also Aman's favourites.
Talking about her birthday plans, Aman says, "Birthdays validate the joy of life. I usually celebrate mine with my family and friends. I am looking forward to to sharing a meal and some time with the underprivileged."
