The most-awaited horror film of the year, The Nun's trailer was released. But the makers had to delete it because YouTube considered as the most-scary trailer ever.

Here's why The Nun trailer was deleted from YouTube for being too scary!

'The Nun' started making headlines ever since the makers of the film released the first teaser trailer of the film, starring Demian Bichir as Father Burke, Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene, and Jonas Bloquet as a local villager Frenchie. Directed by Corin Hardy and produced by Wan and by Peter Safran, The Nun is all set to hit the theatres on 7th September.

While the first teaser trailer left everyone startled, the trailer of the film was deleted by the makers as YouTube considered it to be too scary for the audience. As the film release is just around the corner, we are here to give you some amazing facts about the film and its cast.

1. It's ROMAN:

Set in the 1950s, most of the action takes place in 14th-century buildings. Entirely shot in Romania, production designer Jennifer Spence created a faux entrance to the Abbey against one of the battlement walls of Gothic-Renaissance Castle Corvin in Hunedoara.

2. The Taissa Trivia:

Taissa Farmiga from The Nun

Taissa is not a horror movie fan and had demon-fighting dreams while on location for The Nun. Not only this, Taissa tried to watch The Conjuring – starring her sister Vera – four times, but was too frightened to see the blockbuster horror film through to the end.

3. The artsy side of Corin Hardy:

Hardy has an art, drawing, illustration background and went to art school with The Nun costume designer Sharon Gilham at London’s Wimbledon School of Art. The actor also kept a sketchbook throughout pre-production and production, in which he drew many of the characters, scenes, tonal references, and storyboards.

4. The 'Valak' creation:

Valak

James Wan had a very specific look in mind for the demon Valak, aka The Nun, and the filmmakers looked at hundreds of candidates, including a few male actors, before casting Bonnie Aarons.

5. The supernatural encounter:

While filming a particularly atmospheric scene in an old Romanic fortress in MogoÈu00c2u0099oaia, Hardy had a supernatural encounter with what he believes was a pair of ghosts of Romanian soldiers, whom Hardy believed were curious about the filming.

If you are still living under the rock, and yet to watch the teaser trailer, take a look!
