Held at Melhua The Fern on June 7, 2013, the gathering saw a healthy mix of travel, hotel and industry stalwarts. They conferred the title of ‘Green Champion’ on Viren Merchant and Shrikrishna Bhagwat, who founded the Advanced Locality Management (ALM) in Mumbai in the 90s, while noted painter, cartoonist and national award-winning author Aabid Surti earned this title for his outstanding work for water conservation through his NGO Drop Dead.
