Horse racing: Rule Downunder could shock rivals
Despite there being only five runners in the fray, the Madras Race Club Trophy may turn out to be the most thrilling race of the Sunday card at Mahalaxmi
Despite there being only 5 runners in the fray, the Madras Race Club Trophy may turn out to be the most thrilling race of the Sunday card at Mahalaxmi. The reason is, handicapping-wise, four of the five horses are matched so closely that any of them could turn out to be the eventual winner. Luck of the race will prove the most decisive factor, and I think it may go in favour of Rule Downunder, trained by SK Sunderji and to be ridden by Trevor Patel.
Fancied horses may dominate the finish of races in lower class on Sunday. Although no horse attracts as the best betting proposition, Pink Panther (Skoda Superb Cup) and Relentless Pursuit (Quest For Cash) may oblige their followers with little luck.
First race at 4.30 pm.
