Four of the eight races on today's evening race card at Mahalaxmi racetrack are trophy events, the Rajpipla Trophy for Class I horses designated as the feature event. Seven top class horses will compete over a mile trip, and the winner is expected to emerge from the trio of Congressional, Supreme General and Mekong Delta.

I am personally very impressed by the dramatic improvement shown by Supreme General in last start despite a sluggish start, and therefore, have no hesitation in letting my money ride on the Karthik Ganapathy-trained four-year-old, who for the first time in months is seeking a technical demotion from the top-order terms-based contests to class I in handicaps. In the hands of Trevor Patel, Supreme General is tipped the feature event from Congressional and Mekong Delta.
