Modi felt the duo is biased against him and filed a petition in the Bombay HC challenging BCCI's refusal to recuse the duo.

The High Court countered Modi's petition, saying that he should raise the issue before the BCCI. On September 9, the High Court finally decided to hear Modi's fresh petition.

The petition was partly heard yesterday, and will continue today. "Our time came up quite late. We will resume the hearing at 11 am," Modi's lawyer, Mehboob Abdi told MiD DAY.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that BCCI's annual AGM, on September 29, will look into dissolving IPL's Governing Council, to cut short the tenure of the GC. The move is seen as a way of cutting down the powers previously enjoyed byu00a0 the IPL.
