Opting to bat, Rajasthan Royals were restricted to a paltry score of 126 for eight by Deccan Chargers, thanks to some miserly bowling by Amit Mishra and Dale Steyn.
The innings was jolted by some early blows. Skipper Rahul Dravid scored 39.
In reply, Deccan Chargers avoided early hiccups and the opening stand of 63 between Akshat Reddy and Shikhar Dhawan secured the match. The hosts got over the line with five wickets in hand and eight balls to spare.
