Shooting for the sequel to Jogi, we're told, will commence in June. Do you think the same team will be able to recreate the success of the original?

Jogi remains the highpoint of my career, so I would certainly love to be a part of the sequel. I am looking forward to working with my favorite people, and I have great expectations of the music. I have great faith in Prem, the director, because in the final analysis, if the captain of the ship is good, it's smooth sailing or else, it's a tragedy.

Well, I am a newcomer myself and I have a lot to learn, which is why I prefer to act with these wonderful actors. I have acted with Diganth in Bisele and it's been a good experience.

We spotted you at the mass naming ceremony of babies, on Dr Raj's birth anniversary...
Dr Raj will always be my favourite person. I have very special memories of the day I spent with him. We were shooting for Jogi right outside his house in Sadashivnagar, and he invited us for lunch. I spent an entire day with the family. I was struck by his humility and his down-to-earth nature.u00a0

Are you in awe of his son, Shivarajkumar, as well?
Shivarajkumar is fantastic. He is the most helpful co-star I've ever worked with. And he is also a lot of fun. He lightens the mood on the sets and he is always ready to help his co-stars with their lines.

You are more of a brand ambassador than an actress. Do you see modelling as an alternative career and a quick way to make easy money?
I have been doing ad campaigns ever since I was in school. I have modelled for Fanta, Close-up and Cadbury. I will continue endorsing brands as I enjoy doing it and I'm glad my face can sell products. It feels good to know that teenage girls copy my style of dressing. What I wear in my films, especially in the song sequences, becomes a fashion trend and that is very flattering. Both are glamourous jobs and I enjoy them.
