The 26-year-old has been dating the 29-year-old, who has been working for the Professional Golfers Association for around six months now.

The pair met in September 2012 and have been friends for years while McIlroy was dating and was subsequently engaged to Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki, who he broke up with last year just days after sending out wedding invitations.

"I am very happy in my love life. We haven't really been putting it out there. "She is from America, which is why I like to spend time in Palm Beach. The past six or seven months have been really nice.
