I have done badly in my SSC exams

Apr 13, 2012, 06:20 IST | Dear Diana

Dear Diana, I recently appeared for my SSC board exams. I didn't do very well. I am worried that I won't pass. I'm writing to you as I can't share this with anyone else.

I wasted a lot of time when I could have studied and made a difference. I feel really bad now. All my friends who were smart enough to work hard are planning on what to do next whereas I’m still stuck in the thought of having to go through grade X. My parents don’t have a clue that I was just pretending to study when in reality I was fooling around. I’m feeling depressed all of a sudden.

Dear Likha,
There is no point crying over spilt milk now. And it is too late to regret what you did do and what you could do. That’s life... my boy! When you had all the time at your disposal, you did not study. Hope and pray for the best now. The SSC exam is the first step towards many more public exams in your life. Meanwhile, also tell your parents about your fears so that they are prepared for it. At the same time you can think positive and hope that all will be well.
