I'm addicted to Twitter. When I was first introduced to this social media platform, it seemed like any other internet hype with everyone posting-spamming line after line after line. But now, I am one of those who never goes offline! The worst part is I mostly have nothing to tweet yet I keep myself occupied and make fake conversations with others (like me, I suppose) on the timeline just for the heck of it. I do enjoy it but my studies are getting affected too. I thought Facebook was addictive but this is setting the bar higher. I am 26 and working in an ad agency. Help!

You alone are to blame for the mess you find yourself in. Micro-blogging has taken up your life and you have made it look like there is nothing else left for you to do. You are 26 and there are lots of things to do at this age. You are employed in an ad agency and I wonder how you find time if you are constantly tweeting almost every minute. And what do you have to say every nanosecond? It is a case of tweeting just for the heck of it. You are not a celebrity that your every move is watched by fans. For starters cut down usage to not more than six times a day. Then reduce it to three. Also tweet only when it is something of larger interest. Tweeting to your friends about random stuff is useless, pick up the phone and talk to those people rather than put the message on a public platform.
