A new tell-all book reveals how much Carla Bruni was in love with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger
Carla Bruni was so ‘hopelessly stuck’ on Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger that she travelled to Thailand with him just a day after his wife Jerry Hall gave birth to their daughter Georgia.
A new book claims to shed light on the aging lothario’s cuckolding of friend Eric Clapton to woo the Frenchwoman and an explosive confrontation with Jerry Hall. In Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger, writer Christopher Andersen details the affair which would play a part in ending Jagger’s nine year marriage to Hall.

Jagger first laid eyes on Bruni during The Rolling Stones 1990 Urban Jungle tour when she was dating fellow rocker Eric Clapton.
An affair soon began between Bruni and Jagger. The affair continued with Jagger even jetting off to Thailand the morning after Hall gave birth to daughter Georgia May in January 1992.
The book claims that Jagger and Bruni checked into a villa in Phuket where they weren’t hiding their relationship. Hall remained in England and managed to get through to Jagger inThailand where she asked: “Who are you with? Are you withCarla?”
Jagger denied it, but Hall later intercepted a message from Bruni to Jagger. The note read, “I’ll be your mistress forever.” u00a0The book has also made claims about Bruni’s husband, former French Prime Minister Nicolas Sarkozy who refused to buy an apartment with Bruni — because it was next door to Mick Jagger.
Anderson writes, “The president fell under the charm of this apartment. But as they were preparing to buy it, his security informed him that Jagger owned a flat in the same building. Sarkozy then backed out of the deal.”u00a0
