Members of Team Anna from India Against Corruption (IAC), launched a movement yesterday called 'Kursi Chhodo' to protest against ministers of the state for their alleged involvement in the Adarsh society scam.
Around 250 activists headed to the protest point from Kalyan, Panvel, Vashi and other areas. Activist Mayank Gandhi said that they also wanted to spread awareness about the intensity of such scams through their protest. The activists marched from Churchgate to Adarsh Society at Colaba. “The Adarsh scam is the reason we marched all the way to the building. It was also to stress on the government to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill soon,” said Gandhi.

He added that the Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting an inquiry against 500 ministers, out of which 163 ministers are facing serious allegations.
“We will go on an indefinite strike unless these ministers are questioned by the Special Investigative Team. The team should find out whether or not they are guilty within six months through a fast-track Court,” said Gandhi.
The IAC activists said that similar long marches would be organised on July 21 and they would spread their message through street plays outside schools, colleges and railway stations.u00a0
