The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has done a commendable job in ensuring that both ICSE Results come out on time, as per the annual academic calendar. This year, the ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) Exam started on February 29 and concluded within a month on March 31 2016.

The period prior to the declaration of ICSE results is always stressful for the students. However, students can look at the data of last year’s ICSE 10th Result data and build realistic expectations. For their benefit, we have compiled important statistics from last year’s CISCE Results below:

In 2015, the ICSE 10th Result was declared on May 18. A total of 1,59,738 class 10 students received their ICSE Results, of which 98.49% managed to pass the exam quite easily. In line with the national level trend, girls managed to outperform boys by quite a significant margin. Looking at the increased participation of the students in this year’s CISCE exams, the board is expecting the overall pass percentages to rise for ICSE Result 2016.
