IDBI Bank gets ISO award for customer care
IDBI Bank has been awarded the international certification ISO 9001:2008 for its Customer Care Centre as well as its In-House JournalIDBI Bank has been awarded the international certification ISO 9001:2008 for its Customer Care Centre as well as its In-House Journal. At a function held in New Delhi, B P Singh, deputy managing director, IDBI Bank, received the certificate from Dr Amit Gupta, Finance Director, QA Certification Pvt Ltd, on behalf of the Bank.
Recognised in more than 150 countries, the 9001:2008 standards place strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, management responsibility, continual improvement and organisational performance measurement.
This gives the customer confidence and satisfaction. Shree Vayam, the in-house journal of the Bank also received the ISO 9001: 2008 certificate for its design, publication and timely distribution.
