India enter U-19 Asia Cup semis

India registered a thumping 81-run victory over Nepal under the Duckworth/Lewis method to qualify for the last four stage of the Under-19 Asia Cup, here yesterday

Left-arm spinner Vikas Mishra’s four wickets helped India skittle out Nepal for a paltry 91, responding to India’s 176 all out. Nepal’s revised target was 173 in 47 overs following the application of D/L method. 

Captain Unmukt Chand (47) and Baba Aparajith (55) were the main contributors for India.

India will face Sri Lanka in the second semi-final on Friday, a day after Pakistan playing against Afghanistan in the first semi-final.
