Romesh Kaluwitharana, one part of Sri Lanka's cutting crew with Sanath Jayasuriya in the mid 1990s, was confident that India would make a positive impact in the ongoing second Test against South Africa at Centurion after their 72-run loss in the opening game.

Kaluwitharana was in Mumbai to announce the SAI-Mumbai Masters T20 League 2018. The tournament kicks off on January 21 at the Police Gymkhana. "The South Africans are making green and fast wickets. Playing positive cricket will be the key and India will come back in strong fashion," said Kaluwitharana. Also present at the launch was former Test opener Wasim Jaffer whose century in the final Test of the 2006-07 series at Cape Town went in vain.
