Indian women kabaddi team wins gold

Indian women's kabaddi team beat Thailand 54-25 to clinch the gold medal at the third Asian Beach Games in Haiyang, China yesterday.

u00a0Indians were leading 27-12 at half time. The Indian squad, comprising Marshal Mary, Mamata, Priyanka, Priyanka Negi, Kavita Devi and Randeep Kaur added another 27 points to wrap up the tie in style. According to the final medal tally, Indian women’s team also won a gold in basketball, while Indian men’s kabbadi team won a bronze.
