India's first heritage cricket tour to be held in Mumbai

Aiming to represent the city's rich cricket culture, former Test cricketer Yajurvindra Singh is set to organise the country's first heritage tour scheduled to held here on August 14.


The one-day bus tour will be anchored by commentator Milind Wagle and former BCCI media manager Devendra Prabhudesai, who will narate stories and anecdotes of various stadiums in the city including the iconic Wankede stadium.

The event which is conceptualised by Marine Sports will include tour to the Oval Maidan, Cross Maidan, Azad Maidan, Kennedy Seaface, Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium among many others.

Singh, who has represented India in four Tests besides playing 78 first class matches, will be joined by Theo Braganza, proprietor of The Marine Sports, who will be managing all the logistics of the tour.
