IPL 2017: Fans rejoice! RCB skipper Virat Kohli reveals comeback date

Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli has dropped hints that he may make a comeback soon from his shoulder injury. The Team India captain has hinted at the possibility of him leading RCB during their IPL encounter against Mumbai Indians on April 14 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Kohli posted a video on Instagram of his gym session. He was seen doing a weightlifting clean and jerk drill. The effortlessness with which he was seen lifting weights is an indicator that he is slowly and surely regaining full strength in his shoulders.

"Can't wait to get back onto the field. Almost there now ??????. 14th April ?," his post although had a question mark which means that his return is still not 100 percent confirmed.

He also recently posted a cryptic message on Twitter that suggested his return to cricket, but left the date out at that time.

Kohli injured his shoulder while fielding during the third Test against Australia at Ranchi. He subsequently missed the fourth Test in Dharamsala.

Kohli has time and again said that Indian cricket is his primary focus and he would only be back when he is 120 percent fit.

Kohli is keen to take the field since RCB has lost two of their three matches in IPL 2017 so far. He would be hurting even more given the fact that he had as many as 973 runs under his belt the previous season, when he also scored four 100s and all but took his side to the title.

Kings XI Punjab rode on a solid batting performance by Hashim Amla and skipper Glenn Maxwell to thrash RCB by eight wickets in their encounter at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Monday.

Bollywood actress and alleged girlfriend of Virat's Anushka Sharma visited him in Bangalore yesterday and some media reports suggested that she had gone to meet Virat to cheer him up.
