Another election 'icon' Virat Kohli however, failed to turn up to vote even though he was in Delhi on April 10 and that too when last year he had been part of an awareness campaign for the Delhi elections.

This year he was chosen as 'icon' and 'ambassador' for new voters.

According to Kohli's coach, Rajkumar Sharma, his ward was in Bangalore on April 10. “He is fond of voting, but he was in India, but not in Delhi,” said Sharma.
