Nudity an issue
Nandana Sen opted out ofu00a0 Choli Ke Peecheu00a0 because of the nudity; and now Irrfan has recommended the South Indian actress Shriya Reddy, "I saw her in a film and wasu00a0 blown away by her face.
I think she'd suit the role more than Nandana whose features are too sharp to play a tribal woman." Irrfan feels the South Indian actress too may not be willing to do the nude scene. "The director can get a body double foru00a0 that shot."
Irrfan adds, "It was the eminent litterateur Mahashweta Devi's story that first attracted me to this project. I've always admired her work and would do anything to be part of her creativity."

A lot of people in Bengal think I'm Bengali. And when I go South there I'm taken to be a pucca South Indian. So I guess my looks render themselves tou00a0u00a0 many readings. I like that."
