The actor is supposed to be disliking Maneesh Sharma, the director of his debut film 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. Those close to the actor say Ranveer thought Maneesh was taking a lot of credit for the film. The actor has been fast making friends with other directors and even danced for hours at Shaad Ali’s nuptials.
At a gala event in Toronto, Ranveer was seen constantly trying to create a 'tamasha'. He would either lunge towards people for a hug or a fall at their feet, depending on their seniority. This was done more in the spirit of exhibitionism than reverence.

Ranveer was specifically asked to keep a beard for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela'. But he invited SLB's ire when he walked onto the sets with a clean-shaven look. A huge fight followed and crewmembers had to resolve the issue by suggesting prosthetics.
Recently, Ranveer invited Shatrughan Sinha's ire when he passed some rather cosy compliments to Sonakshi by saying, “I would like to date Sonakshi, she is the perfect Indian beauty”. Father 'Shotgun' Sinha was so infuriated, he summoned Sona back to Mumbai.

The actor openly threatened one of Anushka Sharma's fan when he complimented the actress. According to sources, Ranveer snapped at the fan saying, “She is my girlfriend! I will break your nose.”
Ranveer has somewhat earned the reputation for digging his co-stars. First it was Anushka, then Sonakshi and then buzz suggested he is quite close to 'Ram Leela' co-star Deepika Padukone. The two were even spotted having lunch on New Year’s Eve.
Ranveer took an instant dislike for newbie Arjun Kapoor, his co-star in YRF's 'Gunday', when he was linked to his ex Anushka Sharma. This became all the more obvious when Ranveer snubbed Arjun at a party when he tried to strike a conversation.
