"I will definitely attend a couple of training sessions with the team and the plan is to have a couple of kick-abouts with them.

However, I will not want to disrupt their sessions since football is serious business.

The plan is to attend all home games for Mumbai City FC and, schedule permitting, try and attend as many away games as I can too," the actor at an event to unveil the Mumbai City FC logo on Saturday.

Talking about his team and his role in player selection in the drafts, Kapoor said, "At the end of the domestic and international drafts, I can say that I am extremely happy about our squad. We have a solid team.

Options
"The technical team short-listed options and then we all sat down together and discussed the pros and cons of each player and finally, joint decisions were taken on whom we should target as a team."

The 31-year-old said that he is a hands-on co-owner but added that he wanted to leave the technical matters to the experts.

"I am very involved and have been an enthusiastic and excited participant in all team meetings, be it discussing the football philosophy, the logo, the grassroots plan or the marketing strategies.

"However, I do have a competent team running matters off and on the field and don't interfere in their work. After all, they are the experts," he said.
