The Ranji Trophy team secured a place in the knockouts and the under-19 side defeated Punjab in the Cooch Behar Trophy final by virtue of first innings lead at Mohali.

Sidak shines too
In reply, Punjab were bowled out for 462, giving Mumbai a slim four-run lead largely due to a five-wicket haul by left-arm spinner Sidak Singh.
