Patel will attend the CEO meeting,” he said, ending weeks of speculation on who would represent the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at the ICC meeting.

The IDI or ICC Development (International) Limited, is the commercial arm of the ICC. On whether BCCI president N Srinivasan would also fly down to London to attend meetings of ICC sub-committees of which he is member, Dalmiya replied: “I am not aware about that.”

DRS in question

Asked about BCCI’s stand on DRS at the ICC annual conference, Dalmiya said: “We will take a decision once we reach there. We want cooperation from ICC and its other members on DRS and also for cleansing cricket,” he said.
