Japanese blossoms for Mumbai
The Japanese sure know how to please women. After all, when it comes to flowers and attention to detail, we're just a swoon away!
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness an exotic variety of flowers from different parts of the world. A one-of-its-kind exhibition on the ancient form of Ikebana will be on display right here in Mumbai. Known as an invigorating art form, one of the literal translations of Ikebana means ‘giving life to flowers’.
The mesmeric flower arrangements have been concocted from basic drift wood, metal, acrylic, plastic and paper. What is unique about this art form is that it draws attention to the often neglected parts of the plants such as stems and leaves. If all this has caused a blooming sensation, we suggest you head to this fascinating exhibition.
Till: April 24, 10.30 am to 7.30 pm
At: PL Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy, Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi.
