"The Hunger Games" actress went to Shriners Hospitals for Children on Saturday, and even posed for photographs with the children and staff members there, reports aceshowbiz.com.

A post on the Facebook page of the hospital read: "A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today. Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our #ShrinersCanada kids and staff. Everyone had a great time."

The actress wore a washed grey top paired with white skinny pants, black sandals and tied up her blonde hair in a messy bun.

In one photograph, the 'Serena' actress posed alongside a little boy in a wheelchair. Another image showed her posing alongside a boy with a walker and some staff members. She also signed on the cast of another boy's arm.

Jennifer Lawrence stars in 'X-Men: Apocalypse' along with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne and Olivia Munn.

Directed by Bryan Singer, the ninth instalment of the 'X-Men' film series is scheduled to be released in the US on May 27, 2016.
