JM Road serial blasts accused brought to city

JM Road serial blasts accused brought to city

A team of Delhi Police’s Special Cell brought Sayed Firoz to the city last night. Handcuffed, Firoz was taken to Cantonment area where the cops searched his shop. Later, he was taken to a flat in Kasarwadi where the officials believe the bomb blast conspiracy was hatched.


According to sources, Firoz was brought to the flat with his face covered and amidst high security. Officials of Delhi police also conducted panchnama of the house.

Speaking to MiD DAY, an official from the city police, said, “The team reached Cantonment police station around 11 pm. Then they, along with some officials from the local police station, took Firoz to his garment shop, and later to the flat in Kasarwadi.”

The cops also questioned the landlord of the flat and sought the information about the trio’s sojourn in his flat.Meanwhile, Firoz’s brother Fayyaz alleged that he was told by the ATS that his family would be allowed to meet Firoz for sometime.u00a0However, the police brought Firoz late in the night and did not inform the family about his arrival, he said.u00a0
