Jockey YS Srinath likely to emulate b Prakash with au00a0 double at Mahalaxmi today
Two ace jockeys who have been groping for top form this Mahalaxmi season may end up sharing the riding honours for this mid-week racing. Yesterday, it was B Prakash who scored a double with Superior Quest and Blazing Spectacle to take his tally from threeu00a0 wins from 16 rides to five from 19; and today it could be the turn of YS Srinath, who is only two for 31 so far, to return to the winner's enclosure with both his mounts, Prime Time and Ecstatica.
A seven-race card is slated for today's races at Mahalaxmi for the first extra day of the current campaign.
Srinath will be riding Prime Time, trained by Altaf Hussain in the opening event of the card (Tenacity Plate), and in the sixth race, the Meherban Trophy, he will be astride Ecstatica, trained by Imtiaz Sait and owned by Shapoor Mistry who retains the jockey.
