JP Dutta still can't fathom why Abhishek Bachchan walked out of Paltan. It looks like he is still hurting. At an event for the film he said, "Please talk to the Bachchans as I don't know what exactly happened and what went wrong."
Junior B walked out of the film at the last-minute when the unit had already reached Ladakh for the shoot. Dutta and Abhishek go back a long way. Junior B had made his B-Town debut in Refugee (2000), which was directed by Dutta. Sparks flew between Aishwarya and Abhishek on the set of Umrao Jaan (2006), which was also Dutta's movie.
